WHO ARE WE?
Bad Habit Events is a nightlife events company which was created in 2014. Our team consists of Manchester’s most influential people in student nightlife. We are officially the cities biggest and most established student events company. Running 6 weekly events, 52 weeks a year! In addition, huge one-off events, festivals & multi-venue takeovers! We operate the Manchester’s freshers week wristband and the national freshers UV neon rave.

THE WEEKLY EVENT LINE UP:
At all our events, customers can either pay on the door or purchase a physical or online ticket in advance. Our events are consistently the busiest in the city with full venue decor and production with numerous celebrity appearances each week. Once you arrive in Manchester, we will get set up ready to start working for Bad Habit Events (Including Quids In at Factory, Twosday at History, F*CK Thursdays at Factory, Thursday Club at Club Liv & Uncensored at Impossible).

WE ARE RECRUITING FOR
STREET TEAM:
Working with numerous staff throughout various student locations in the city distributing promotional content wearing event branded clothing. These shifts are flexible both in the day or night. You will be provided with a location, start time and end time for this role.
OPERATING THE GUESTLIST:
Outside of the club with a clipboard and list of guest list names that promoters have submitted to management before the event taking place. You will work alone and wear event branded clothing.
DATA COLLECTION:
Collecting data from customers inside and outside of the club. This data will consist of taking down emails, Instagram accounts etc.
TICKET REP SELLERS:
Working door to door in student halls or through your unique online ticket rep link selling within student chat groups.
EVENT MANAGER:
Previous event experience required. You will be involved in organising staffing rota’s, recruitment, event set up and event board ideas.
HOSTESS:
Positioned at the main entrance inside the club, you will greet customers as they come in. You will be dressed in the hostess event outfit. You will be required to take photos.

WHAT IS EXPECTED FROM ALL BAD HABITS EVENTS STAFF
In return for putting the word out about the events on social media, you will have access to all work shifts, be paid £1 commission for each name you receive through guestlist and receive all staff perks at the events.
WHAT TO EXPECT ONCE YOU ARRIVE TO MANCHESTER
Every year we hold the annual induction staff meeting during freshers week for all new recruits. This allows you to meet everyone and ask us any questions you may have over complimentary staff drinks. DO NOT worry this is all very relaxed and chilled. Here we will go into more detail on the roles available, arrange your shifts and you will receive loads of free Bad Habit Event Merchandise too. The date of this meeting will be provided in due course.
£7 hourly (Day shift)
