HOW TO MAKE SALES
Make sure you're in all the freshers groups & group chats not only for your University but other Universities in your new city too. (Your recruitment manager can provide you with the join links).
Once you've joined groups & group chats the most effective method to sell tickets is to make posting your ticket link look as natural as possible. You want to come across as though you’re sharing your link so other freshers don’t miss out on the biggest freshers event rather than just being a promoter selling tickets.
Start conversations and join other conversations in University Facebook groups with the end goal of commenting your ticket link for other freshers to buy. You can do this by posting engaging content in the freshers groups such as "What course will everyone be studying?", "Anyone here planning on going to uni in a relationship?". Once people engage with your post have individual convos with them by replying to each comment with the intention on talking about freshers before sending your link. (See example at the bottom of the page).
Join lots of Facebook group chats & start talking with other members with the end goal of bringing up our Freshers events and sharing your ticket link. You can discuss anything to start with but some ideas are freshers week / moving in / Uni related topics / general chat about things you're interested in.
In group chats you could have a conversation like "Is everyone looking forward to freshers" or "Has anyone bought any freshers tickets yet". Wait for some responses then bring our events into the convo, you could say something like "I've bought tickets for the UV Neon Rave", "My friends in second year suggested I get an official freshers week wristband" or "Battle of the Unis looks good, I'm going to buy tickets on pay day". Some might ask what that is then you can share the promo video and say: "I'm going to get my ticket now, this is the link if anyone needs it: *YOUR TICKET LINK'"
Facebook add people from all the University Freshers groups relating to the City/University you’re selling tickets for.
Message other freshers directly & speak about the events they’re going to then suggest they get a ticket for one of our events/wristbands too! Over 60% of rep sales come from private messaging group members (See example at the bottom of the page)
Find as many Freshers Pages & events for the cities you're selling tickets for and post your ticket link in them with a sales post! Top tip: Share the Freshers UV Neon Rave video, a recent sales post or photos from the event brands' Facebook page with your post to boost your sales!
Other than that, it's important you get involved when someone mentions or posts about our events. The more people who talk about our events or the more likes / comments one of our event post gets the more sales you'll make in the end which means more commission + bonuses!
